Backup is something you don't usually think about until you need it most. At Relion Support, we remind clients that there is no fix for lost data, except good backup.
Depending on your budget and backup requirements, we offer two levels of backup service: Basic Backup and Managed Offsite Backup.
Basic Backup
Traditional tape backup solutions can be rather expensive and can start at $3,000 or more. By utilizing inexpensive USB hard drives, we have drastically reduced the hardware requirements. Storagecraft Shadowcopy, our backup software of choice, is a simplified solution that creates a mirror image of the entire server. Unlike tape backup solutions that require reinstalling many applications during a restore, step-by-step image restore by Shadowcopy is quick and easy.

Managed Offsite Backup
With the Basic Backup service, the client is responsible for rotating a set of backup drives for safe-keeping offsite. Typically a manager or the owner of the company takes the backup drive home at the end of each week. Keeping at least one drive offsite safeguards the company data in case of natural disaster or theft.
For clients who prefer the convenience of an automated service, we offer Managed Offsite Backup. Every hour that your incremental backup is completed, the encrypted images is securely transmitted over the Internet to our secure datacenter for safe keeping.
